How renewals, auto-renew and grace periods work

Every NGP Cloud subscription renews automatically at the end of its billing cycle so your server never goes offline unexpectedly.

Before the due date

  • An invoice is generated at the start of each billing cycle.
  • We email you a renewal reminder 3 days before the due date.
  • If you have a saved payment method, it's charged automatically on the due date.

If a renewal isn't paid

Days after due dateWhat happens
Day 1-3Grace period. Your service keeps running and we send reminders.
Day 4-7Service is suspended. Your files are kept.
Day 8-14Final notice. A late fee of ₹100 or 5% (whichever is higher) may be added.
Day 15+Service is terminated. Data is permanently deleted after 30 days unless the invoice is paid.

Turn auto-renew off or on

  1. Open your Dashboard and go to Subscriptions.
  2. Select the service.
  3. Toggle auto-renew, or choose Cancel to stop the subscription at the end of the current period.

Changing plans or billing cycles

Upgrades keep your files in place. Billing-cycle changes (for example monthly to annual) take effect at your next renewal. Quarterly billing saves 5% and annual billing saves 20% compared with monthly.

Price changes

If our prices go up, we announce it by email at least 30 days in advance, and the new price only applies from your first renewal after that notice period.
