Set up your GTA V (FiveM) server with txAdmin
NGP Cloud's GTA V servers run FiveM, managed with txAdmin - a web panel for installing a framework, managing players and restarting on a schedule.
1. Get a FiveM license key
- Go to portal.cfx.re and sign in with your Cfx.re account.
- Open Server Keys and register a new key.
- For the IP address, use the IP shown in your NGP Cloud panel.
- Copy the key (it starts with
cfxk_).
2. Add the key and start
- Stop the server.
- On the panel's Startup tab, paste the key into the License Key variable.
- Start the server and watch the console.
3. Set up txAdmin
- On first start the console prints a txAdmin URL (the server IP with the txAdmin port) and a PIN.
- Open that URL in your browser and enter the PIN.
- Link your Cfx.re account and create the txAdmin master account.
- Follow the setup wizard and pick a recipe:
- QBCore or ESX for roleplay servers.
- CFX Default for a clean server you'll build yourself.
- Let the deployer finish, then click Save & Run Server.
Add resources (scripts)
-
Upload the resource folder into
resources/with the file manager or SFTP. -
Add it to
server.cfg:ensure my-resource -
Restart the server from txAdmin.
Connect
In FiveM, press F8 and run:
connect 203.0.113.10:30120
Use your server's IP and port from the panel. Once your server is listed, players can also find it by name in the FiveM server browser.
